What nine dart club stores, what leaves your phone and what does not, and who to ask about it.
Last updated: 2026-09-17
Open the appThe short version: your games are saved on your phone, and a solo game is never sent anywhere. There is no sign-up — no email address, no password, nothing to be logged in as, and no profile of you to build. The one exception is sync, which is off unless you turn it on, needs Premium, and is described in full below.
Who is responsible
nine dart club, Slovakia. For anything on this page, write to richardkollar@tutanota.com.
What is stored on your phone
Your settings, the game in progress and up to two hundred finished games are kept in your browser’s local storage. That is storage on your own device, not a server, and it is what makes the app work offline. Nobody else can read it. Clearing your browser data for this site, or using Settings to reset the app, deletes all of it — permanently, unless you have turned sync on, because otherwise there is no copy anywhere else.
This storage is strictly necessary for a feature you asked for by using the app, so it needs no consent. It is not used to track you and holds no identifier.
Cookies
None. This site sets no cookies — no analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts of any kind, and the pages outside the app run no JavaScript at all. That is why you were not asked to agree to anything: there is nothing to agree to, and a banner asking permission for nothing is a tap you do not owe anybody.
One exception, and it is not this site: if somebody gives you a private link to their own copy, that link sets a single cookie so the pages you open carry the key. It says nothing about you and is strictly necessary for getting in at all.
What leaves your phone
Four things, all of them things you choose to do.
- Playing a mate online: that game’s darts, the two names typed in and a four-letter room code go to the server so the other phone can read them. The room is deleted thirty minutes after the last phone stops asking about it. Nothing about it is kept afterwards.
- Activating Premium, and about once a week after that: the key you typed is sent to be checked. The key is not linked to your name or your email address.
- Sync, if you turn it on: every finished game is uploaded and kept, as described in the next section.
- Ordinary web requests: like any website, the server sees your IP address and the kind of browser you are using in order to answer at all.
Sync
Sync is off unless you turn it on, and it needs Premium. It exists so that a new phone can pick up where the old one left off, and so that your statistics can cover every game you have ever played rather than the last two hundred on one phone.
When you turn it on, your phone makes a sync code — twenty random letters — and that code is the whole account. It is not linked to your name, your email address or your purchase. Every finished game is then uploaded: the darts, the settings the game was played under, when it was played, and the names typed for the players. Those names are usually your own and your mates’, so if you type real names and turn sync on, they go to the server too; use nicknames if that matters to you or to them.
The server keeps only a hash of the code, so the code itself is stored nowhere and cannot be looked up or recovered — not by you, and not by me. Lose it and the copy is unreachable, although the games on your phone are untouched and can still be exported. Any phone that knows the code can read and add to the copy, so treat it like a key.
- To stop syncing from one phone, unlink it in Settings. The copy stays.
- To erase the copy, use "Delete the cloud copy" in Settings on any linked phone. It is deleted from the server immediately.
- If Premium is refunded or cancelled, syncing stops and the copy is kept, not deleted, so nothing is lost by a payment going wrong.
- A copy that no phone has touched for twenty-four months is deleted.
Ads
The ads in the free version are part of the app itself. They are drawn from text already on your phone, they work with the radio off, and they load nothing, request nothing and track nothing.
If that ever changes — if a real advertising network is used instead — this page will say so before it happens, you will be asked for consent first, and Premium will continue to mean no ads and no advertising cookies at all.
Payments
Premium is sold through a payment provider that acts as the merchant of record. They handle the card details, the receipt and the invoice, and this app never sees any of it. The only thing kept here is a record that a key was issued and when it was redeemed. That record holds no name and no email address.
How long things are kept
- Games and settings: on your phone until you delete them.
- Duel rooms: thirty minutes after the last request.
- A sync copy: until you delete it, or twenty-four months after the last phone touched it.
- Tournament nights: the results scored into a tournament server are kept with that night’s record, under the names entered on the bracket.
- Premium keys: for as long as the key is valid, since it is what proves the purchase.
- Server logs: short-term, for keeping the thing running and secure.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. Since almost everything is on your own phone, most of that you can do yourself in Settings — including exporting your games as a file, and deleting a sync copy outright. A sync copy can only be reached with its code, so a request about one that arrives without the code cannot be matched to anything; that is by design, and it is why the delete button in the app is the surest way. For the rest, write to the address above.
If you think this has been handled badly you may complain to the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky).
Children
This is a dart scorer, not a social network. It is not directed at children, asks nobody for personal details, and shares nothing with third parties.
