What nine dart club is, what it costs, and how to get in touch.

nine dart club is a dart counter for your phone. It scores 301, 501 and Around the World, either from a number grid or by tapping the board itself, shows you the ways out once you are in finishing range, and keeps per-player statistics that a built-in coach turns into the next drill worth throwing.

It is a web app, so there is nothing to install from a store — open it once and add it to your home screen. There is no sign-up: no email address, no password, nothing to be logged in as. Your games are saved on your phone, not on a server — unless you are on Premium and choose to turn sync on, which keeps a copy of your finished games under a code your phone makes.

Offline first, and that is not a slogan

Dartboards live in basements, garages and pubs with one bar of signal. Every solo game and every drill works with the radio off, because after the first visit the app is served entirely from your own phone. The one thing that needs a connection is playing a mate on another phone, which is optional.

What it costs

It is free, and free means free: every game, every drill and every statistic, with no trial and nothing withheld. There is a small ad on the screens between games — never on the game screen itself while you are throwing.

Premium is one payment, forever, and removes the ads. It also unlocks the one thing that needs a server to exist: optional sync, so your finished games and your all-time statistics follow you to a new phone. Nothing else is held back, on purpose: a training feature behind a paywall would make the free version worse, and the free version is the product.

Who makes it

Made in Slovakia. It started as a counter for playing at home and grew because a spreadsheet of averages is not a training partner.
