Refund policy
How to get your money back for Premium, and the one thing to try first.
Last updated: 2026-09-17
Open the appPremium costs about the price of a pint and removes the ads. If it did not do that for you, you should have your money back.
Fourteen days, no reason needed
Ask within fourteen days of buying and you get a full refund. You do not have to explain why, and there is nothing to return — I withdraw the key.
How to ask
Email richardkollar@tutanota.com with the receipt from your purchase, or the key itself. The receipt is quicker because it identifies the payment; the key alone works too.
Refunds are issued by the payment provider that took the money, back to the card or account you paid with. It usually shows up in a few working days.
Try this first
Most "it did not work" emails are one of two things, and both are quicker to fix than to refund:
- The key needs to be typed on the phone you want ad-free, in Settings → Premium → I have a key, while that phone has a connection. It works offline afterwards, but not for that first activation.
- The key is letters only — no digits, and never the letters I or O, so a 1 or a 0 in what you typed is the usual culprit. Case and dashes do not matter.
After fourteen days
Write anyway. A key that never worked, or that stopped working, is a bug I want to know about, and I would rather refund you than have you keep an app that annoys you.
